Use Text Editors like NoteTab or TreePad for Storing, Use a Spreadsheet for Maintaining a Playlist and exporting to PSV, if you are at ease with OpenOffice. When you Press Backup, your Clipboard will have the PSV automatically, tested for FF and IE. If that does not work, Right Click on the Text and Copy, The Full PSV is copied even if you see only a part of it in the Gadget output screen.
If users want to use it for Real Media, then Install Free-Codecs.com - Real Alternative 1.52 Player which sets the Plugin in both Firefox and IE. Use QuickTime Player for playing Midi in Firefox if required.
