PDF to PNG ghost view can make both PDF and PNG. But i use below method to take snapshots of PDFs i made. Make a page and print to "HP Color LaserJet 8550-PS" to a file my_page.ps , set proper page size A4, A3, portrait or landscape with color. Open post script or *.ps file with Ghostgum Software, ghost view, with ghost script installed. then file-convert-pdfwrite-defaults will give pdf file.
Open pdf file and magnify image to suitable size then press print screen key, (disable special keys) then open IrfanView and paste. then in irfanview select area by click-drag and edit-crop selection. Now Image-decrease color depth to 16 colors then save as PNG or portable network graphics. Now open png with XnView viewer CLOE raytracing and move mouse over background and note palette "Index" number and then do save as with options in dialog set to that palette index number transparent.
I got a nice drawing software, which is easy to use. All i can draw are squares and circles which i need to make block diagrams. With Photofiltre i could do this and many more things i ever needed. and used for all my graphics work..
This program is just what i needed for my web graphics, you can manage all images with your comments, and it has a search with results which shows thumbnails. It has a xml based tree on the left pane and thumbnail preview on the right, a software which has high quality ergonomics. If a document organizer is made it these lines it will be a good software product. Cheez - A free image cataloguing and image archiving program
