The Computers built from around 2009 upto now are pretty good for Ubuntu and Kubuntu. Add a Sprinkle of Ram when needed.

Here i am seen with The Ubuntu.
I have used Docky for more icons, Then i added the System Load Monitor on the Top. That is all i need to start working.
For those who want icons on desktop, use cairo-dock and from App Menu - pull out the icons to desk. Cairo Dock is bit heavy (fancy too) so only newer computers.
They RhythmBox Music Player Interfaces well with the Media Controls on the Logitech Keyboard.
