Artha is released under the GNU General Public Licence version 2; hence you are free to copy/redistribute it...
WordNet is a free open lexical database for English, by Cognitive Science Laboratory of Princeton University under the direction of psychology professor George A. Miller. It is what its name says. Each word will have one or more definitions (or senses, technically). Apart from these definitions, a word is interlinked to other words by a relation like Synonyms, Hypernyms, etc. Generally, We tend to forget a word by learning a word's definitions alone.

The basic idea in KeyNote is that you can include many separate notes within a single file. This means that you do not need to open several files - for most purposes it is enough to create only one file and hold all your notes inside it. With the addition of the tree-type notes, you now have a three-dimensional notebook: many notes within one file and a multi-level, nested pages within a single note. Optionally, KeyNote can encrypt your data securely using the Blowfish or Idea algorithms. Keynote's interface and behavior are extremely configurable.
Tabbed notebook, outliner and personal information manager, with tree structure and strong encryption. Open source.
Further development has been taken up by Daniel Pradov, who has been releasing new versions under the name of KeyNote NF (New Features).
Tranglos Software - KeyNote Tabbed notebook
Tabbed notebook, outliner and personal information manager, with tree structure and strong encryption. Open source.
- RichText enabled editor, with many text formatting functions ad properties (font styles, colors, highlighted text, paragraph styles, bullets, numbered lists, etc.)
- Store many separate notes within one file; each note is displayed on its own, easily accessible tab. This is a much more convenient solution than opening several files on disk. Each note has independent font, color and editor settings.
- Choose between two types of notes: a simpler, editor-only note, or a tree-type note, which is a multi-level hierarchy of "branches", each with its own note. The two types of notes can be mixed freely within one file
- Tree type notes can be arranged horizontally (tree panel to the left of editor) or vertically (tree panel above the editor)
- You can protect your data files with secure encryption using a strong cipher (Blowfish or IDEA)
- Integration with WordWeb, a freeware dictionary/thesaurus program

tinySpell 1.5 - a tiny spell checker for Windows
Occasionally you need to check the spelling of words in an application that does not include a spelling checker and you don't want to launch your word processor just for that. This is when tinySpell becomes handy. It is a small utility that allows you to easily and quickly check the spelling of words in any Windows application.
tinySpell can watch your typing on the fly and alert you whenever it detects a misspelled word. It can also check the spelling of text that you copy to the clipboard.
tinySpell installs itself in the system tray for easy access. It comes with an American-English dictionary containing more than 110,000 words.

LyX combines the power and flexibility of TeX/LaTeX with the ease of use of a graphical interface. This results in world-class support for creation of mathematical content (via a fully integrated equation editor) and structured documents like academic articles, theses, and books.
In addition, staples of scientific authoring such as reference list and index creation come standard. But you can also use LyX to create a letter or a novel or a theatre play or film script. A broad array of ready, well-designed document layouts are built in.
LyX for Windows
LyX is a document processor that encourages an approach to writing based on the structure of your documents, not their appearance. It is released under a Free Software / Open Source license.
LyX is for people that write and want their writing to look great, right out of the box. No more endless tinkering with formatting details, 'finger painting' font attributes or futzing around with page boundaries. You just write. In the background, Prof. Knuth's legendary TeX typesetting engine makes you look good.
On screen, LyX looks like any word processor; its printed output -- or richly cross-referenced PDF, just as readily produced -- looks like nothing else. Gone are the days of industrially bland .docs, all looking similarly not-quite-right, yet coming out unpredictably different on different printer drivers. Gone are the crashes 'eating' your dissertation the evening before going to press.

Organization Charts, Business Diagrams, Presentations, Flow Charts, and Org Charts: "Charting Software by RFF Electronics
Powerful, yet easy to use, tool for drawing flowcharts, organization charts, and many other kinds of diagrams. You will quickly create professional-looking charts for documents, presentations, or the Web. "
The trial version of RFFlow is identical to the full version in that it can be used to draw, edit, print, and save charts. The trial version has no restrictions related to the amount of time it is used or kept on a computer. However, the RFFlow trial will limit the number of shapes in a chart so that only small charts can be drawn. In the full version of RFFlow, you can draw enormous charts containing over 65000 objects.
Any RFFlow file can be opened, viewed, and printed with the trial version, no matter how many shapes it contains. In this way, the trial version is also the free viewer version of RFFlow.
